Week One - Write a summary of the class reading book you looked at last term. What was it called? Who wrote it? What was the basic storyline? What stood out for you as its main themes? Would you recommend it to someone else?
Last term, I read a book called A Wrinkle in Time and it was wrote by Madam Lengle. I was in Mrs Gordons group. The book was about a boy called Charles Wallace who went to go find his father. There was a girl called Meg and she never thought she could do anything,she didn't believe in herself.
There were characters called Mrs who, Mrs What and Mrs When which was very odd. There was also someone called IT who owned a planet called Camazots and everyone in Camazots did everything at the same time and did the same of everything! Jared.P
Jared i remember the book i thought it was a little wierd. I didn't like the characters Mrs what, Mrs who and Mrs when because they were very strange and they were suspicious. I really liked the characters Meg and the boy, whatever his name is.
Did you think that IT was cruel to the citizens of Camazotz? I don't like him,well it because i do think he is very cruel. If you thought the way the kids play on Camazotz is weird i'm on your side. I think it's strange that the kids bounce the ball at the same time.
Week Two - What type of books do you enjoy reading? Do you like funny books? Science Fiction? Scary stories? Adventure? Sad stories? Do you have a favourite book at the moment? Do you prefer to read stories where the main character is your age? Male? Female?
I enjoy many different types of books. I mainly enjoy books where the main character is male and is around my age. Scary stories are alright and adventure stoies are mystreious which makes you want to read them more. My most favourite books are the 4 books of Diary of a wimpy kid. I could not stop reading it. At the moment I am reading the book Hatchet with Mrs Gordon and its about about a boy who gets stranded on an island and he has to survive! Jared.P
You most disliked character in a book and why. In the series unfortunate events i most disliked the man who tried to kill the kids in lots of different ways and he killed most of the kids family and at the end he tries to marry the old girl so he can have full control of them!
He makes the book a book he makes it enertaining because he puts action into it. So even though he was horrible he made the book extremely entertaining and makes it more fun to read but if I was in the book I would be freaking out because of the danger he would give to me. Jared.P

That sounds like a good book Jared.P. I theink diary of a wimpy kid is a hilarious story and I think the scary stories make me jiggle at night and they freik me out all the time.
I wouldn't like a person who would like to kill me and then take control of me by marrying the eldest child. If I was reading that book I would dislike that man forever. Doron
What has been your most favourite Justin D'Ath extreme adventure book and why
I have been reading Grizzly Trap By Justin D'ath
and it is a really good book because the main character or protagonist get's attacked by a big grizzly bear and he is really scared but he finds a way to get away from the big scary grizzly like in Hatchet
I have never read grizzly trap but it sounds amazing I also havent read hachet so I hope I read one of them. It sounds amazing to have escaped a grizzly bear. and when or if I read it i'll see how he dose escape.
I have read spider bite it's about a boy who gets bitten by a sydney funnel web and lands in the zoo with his older brother Sam. It is really exiting and I loved it and im sure you will to. Tali Posniak
This is bailey and my Animoto on the book "When You Reach Me". I loved this book because its a puzzle waiting to be solved and there are so many mysteries that unfold. It is also very exciting and interesting. By Jared Port
